Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, governments have supported Australians get through this crisis.
Government must also play a role in rebuilding the economy and getting lives back on track.
That’s why I’m focused on supporting and creating jobs, affordable housing, better health services and a more sustainable future.
Together, we can build a fairer society and stronger economy.
Together with the McKell Institute and Labor for Housing, it gives me great pleasure to invite you to join us and Australia’s 26th Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, for the Melbourne launch of my policy piece, 'The Crumbling Australian Dream'.
The launch will be on Friday 28 May, at the St Kilda Town Hall, at 6pm.
My policy piece explores the barriers that prevent Australians from living in safe and secure housing and offers ideas of what we can do to address the growing need.
Due to COVID, places are very limited and booking online is essential.
